I have already passed Academic IELTS with overall score 6.0.
I chose this program because, since 2008, I have been heavily involved with children. I worked as a kindergarten teacher for over 8 years in Ukraine, achieved significant success and results in my employment, and received lots of positive feedback from parents and the administration, who are still looking forward to my eventual return so that we can continue our cooperation.
I now work in China at the Thomas elementary school as a teacher, with the right to instruct in Russian, however, I don't have the right to instruct English.
I like China. I have friends and work here, and travel around the country enjoying its beautiful scenery.
Foreign teachers in Chinese kindergartens and schools are in high demand. I have even met Canadian teachers here. Wealthy parents pay quite decent amounts of money for educated persons to teach foreign languages to their children.
My monthly salary is 10,000 YUAN (approximately $2000 CAD), and I am provided a free apartment by the school administration, which located in the city center close to the school.
But wages, perks, working conditions, employer-provided housing, and other benefits are significantly different between those who have formal education in teaching English and those who do not. There are also many more opportunities for official English teachers to choose schools to work at in China.
The school I currently work at is growing and becoming more popular among its clients. The principal plans to partner with other schools and even some Universities.
Through my years of work for the school, the principal has received no complaints from parents about my teaching. More importantly, he has noted my affection and love for children and my commitment to the school.
The principal is very interested in my receiving a teaching diploma from an Anglophone country. Aside from being able to formally place me as an English language teacher, this will also raise the rating of his school. He is guaranteeing me a monthly salary of 15,000 YUAN (approx. $3000 CAD) and other bonuses (please also see the letter issued by the school) on the condition that I receive my education in English teaching from an Anglophone country's public institution.
For my education, I chose Canada, because of the quality of its education and modest prices in comparison to the United Kingdom. I wanted to study in British Columbia, which is a short distance from China, but as expenses seem to be high there, I decided on Ontario instead.
This diploma will not only improve my working conditions, but it will also give me confidence in my career prospects.
I kindly ask you to positively consider my application and allow me to study in Canada.
I have already traveled to the USA, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Maldives, and I have never violated visa regulations.

As they offer distant learning during the pandemic, I decided to take a prerequisite program at Fanshawe College, “ESL 4 English for Academic Purposes”. I studied from January 11 to April 30, 2021, and I finished Level 8 and Level 9 which are prerequisite to the academic program.
During the studies, I met highly professional teachers who impressed me with their competence and presenting skills. I am absolutely sure that studying the two semester program in class will enable me to reach a high level of fluency in English and competence in instructing English.
This diploma of this program will not only improve my working conditions, but it will also give me confidence in my career prospects.
